At ampule, we regularly hold “ampule Boosters★Lunch Meeting,” a study session for beauty writers to provide them with the latest beauty information.

This 5th meeting will be a complete reproduction of “the latest Korean trend makeup” using "J-Beauty items. Nam Eun Sung (henceforth “Eun-chan”), former charismatic sales representative for Olive Young and current trend researcher for ampule, served as the instructor and gave a lecture on practical makeup techniques while explaining the current hot Korean makeup trends.

At the event, the beauty media were able to experience firsthand the high reproducibility and attractiveness of J-Beauty products through hands-on makeup application using J-Beauty products.

1. Diversification of blush makeup

Recently, blush has become more and more popular in Korea, with a variety of blush makeup styles being seen on K-Pop idols and on Korean social networking sites.

The latest trends in Korean makeup include “under-eye blush” that overlaps the dark circles under the eyes, “nose blush” that runs from the right cheek down the bridge of the nose to the left cheek in a “W” shape, and layered blush with a pinkish color highlighter.

2. No clamping color x bunched lashes for a three-dimensional look!

The new Korean eyeshadows these days are mostly light colors with lots of whiteness. They create a translucent eye look that makes the skin tone look beautiful.

The trend is to use less color in the eyeshadow to create a three-dimensional look with a firm bunching of lashes and a crisp eye look.

In Korea, a standard makeup application as much as using an eyelash curler is to use tweezers to create a bunchy look after applying mascara.

The key to creating a firm bundle is to choose a mascara of a sticky type.

This is where metal comb-type mascara, which has no weight to the liquid, is used. It does not clump, so it can be applied delicately while still maintaining the curl.
