This time, we would like to report on the “3rd ampule Boosters★Lunch Meeting” held on July 17 (Wed.).
As a superb guest, we invited Ms. Clara Blanc, a Parisienne living in Japan who has many faces including producer, model, influencer, and brand director, and it was a very exciting meeting, so please read to the end.

In the “2024 Beauty Trend Forecast” published by ampule late last year, we presented five keywords that are likely to become beauty trends in 2024.
The theme of this year’s event was “Neo-Parisienne” and “Subtropical Cosmetics.
The “Neo-Parisienne” theme is based on the expectation that the recent “Paris Boom” supported by the Paris Olympics will spill over into the beauty trend. It is a more sophisticated style that is a step forward from the conventional Parisienne style that emphasizes naturalness.
The “subtropical cosmetics” category is based on the belief that “heat protection” will become a more important beauty topic in the wake of the recent heat wave. This applies to items that prevent collapse and items that cool the skin.

At ampule’s lunch meetings, it is customary for writers who arrive early to actively interact and exchange information with each other before the event begins.
This time, we had a special guest, Clara, and everyone was very interested in her even before the event.
Many people said that they usually follow Clara on social networking sites, and the event was a great success even before it started.
The first half of the study session started with the “Neo-Parisienne” commentary part.
The main speaker was Marina, a researcher and overseas correspondent for ampule magazine.
Although Japanese, she was born in Brazil. She grew up in Thailand, the U.S., and India, and has been living in France for 5 years.
Marina: The conventional image of Parisienne is “effortless chic,” or in other words, “not trying too hard, but sophisticated. But Paris is made up of 20 districts, each with its own unique character.
Marina, who has lived in France for five years, and Clara, who is from Paris.
They will introduce various Parisian styles, focusing on representative districts such as the Marais in the 3rd arrondissement and Saint Germain in the 6th arrondissement.
Marina: People tend to think of Parisiennes as “white and thin,” but in reality, there is more to them than that. In Paris, where many immigrants live, the styles of Parisiennes are also diversifying. Not only in terms of race, but also in terms of gender, there are so many different styles, such as boyish Parisiennes.
Clara: But it is still characterized by effortlessness. Many people said they took care of their skin, but only used one cream. Many people, especially those of the generation older than their parents, don’t take care of their skin, and their basic style is no foundation, just lipstick and mascara. Rather than spending time on makeup in the morning, I think the Parisian sense is to relax with a cup of coffee.
Parisiennes are diversifying while retaining their effortless style.
Are there any trends that are common among Parisiennes today?
Marina: In 2024, Parisiennes will increasingly deviate from the classical style and place more importance on “self-expression” than ever before. The keywords are “Quiet Luxury,” “Edgy,” “Grunge,” “Gender Neutral,” and “Sustainable.
At the end of the Parisienne part, AMPULE offers a proposal for beauty writers who are always looking for ideas for their own projects.
When proposing the “Neo-Parisienne Codes” project, Ms. Kohama, who coordinated the event, appeared in a Neo-Parisienne style. The crowd went “Cute! The crowd went wild for the “Neo-Parisienne Codes.
Outfit: Top, skirt, boots (all LEINWANDE)
That’s how the “Neo-Parisienne” commentary part ended.
The second half of the event was an introduction of ampule’s recommended “anti-tropical cosmetics” and lunch time.
From sun protection to anti-shine and deodorant, ampule members personally introduced their recommendations.
<Two recommendations by ampule representative Iida>
●Ally Chrono Beauty Smooth Gel UV <Non Peta Creator UV>
Recommended POINT:As the name “Non-Peta” suggests, it really doesn’t flake! This is truly a concept-winning product, not only because of ALLIE’s sunscreen ability, but also because it contains menthol, which gives it a pleasant, slightly soothing feeling!
●FAS The Black Comfort Cream
Recommended POINT:A summer cream that protects the skin from the “subtropical zone” is now available from a brand that has won bestsellers in all media, despite being an up-and-coming brand launched in 2023! Not only is it non-sticky and pleasant to use, but it also provides firm anti-aging and sun care.
<ampule 南のおすすめ3選>
●Prima Vista Skin Protect Base, prevents sebum from smudging UV50
Recommended POINT:An essential item for summer makeup! It has amazing anti-slip power, yet it does not dry out and leaves a smooth finish. This is my favorite anti-slip item!
●Biore Zero Series
Recommended POINT:This is the only sweat care series that I have found to be effective! The roll-on is effective in blocking odors, and the sheets have a powder veil that really dries out sweat!
●Revlon Colorstay Lock Setting Mist
Recommended POINT:Fix Mist” is essential for midsummer makeup that suffers from sludge and sagging! This is a must-have item for its effectiveness and cost performance! It has good jetting power and goes great with your favorite base. It has excellent fixing power but is not drying!
And for lunch, we offer grilled sandwiches & Diavolo, a drink that is also popular in France.
A lunchtime gathering of beauty writers, influencers active on the cutting edge, and beauty lovers.
The conversation was lively as they talked about their favorite magazine projects and beauty trends.
Even after the scheduled end time of the event, the beauty talk didn’t stop, and everyone was enjoying the exchange until the last minute before the venue was closed.
