Protect your skin this summer! Care for your inner dry skin with Naturie.

Summer often leads to inner dryness due to air conditioning and UV damage. While heat causes shine and stickiness, the skin's inner layers are actually dehydrated and lacking moisture.

That's why summer is the perfect time for skincare that deeply hydrates your skin from within.

This time, we asked makeup artist Shinobu Igari, who collaborates with ampule on the “Make-Up Project,” to recommend items for summer inner dry skin care.

Discover Natulieu's skincare items that guide your skin toward becoming a reservoir of moisture.

Igari’s Recommended Points

If your skin isn't properly conditioned deep down, makeup may smudge easily, or your skin might overproduce sebum, potentially leading to skin troubles. That's why it's especially important in summer to thoroughly hydrate your skin from within and build a solid foundation.

For this, we recommend our Job's Tears Lotion and Job's Tears Moisturizing Gel. Their refreshing texture allows you to use generously, deeply hydrating your skin. A well-hydrated base improves both makeup application and longevity!

These are reliable items that protect your skin throughout summer. We encourage couples, spouses, and families to use them together.

PROFILE

Shinobu Igari / Makeup Artist

A hitmaker who creates hair and makeup for magazines and advertisements, sparking one trend after another with her signature looks. The hashtag #igarimakeup has ignited a global phenomenon, not just in Japan.

She serves as the cosmetic development director for “WHOMEE” and “SS by WHOMEE,” heads the Cosme Loss Association, and is also widely active as a makeup instructor.

In 2015, she published “Igarimake, Shall We?” (Takarajimasha), with the series selling over 170,000 copies.
That same year, the term “Igarimake” ranked #1 in the Makeup category of the Yahoo! Search Awards. She appeared on MBS's “Jounetsu Tairiku” and NHK's “Professional: The World's Greatest Jobs”.

In December 2024, she released “Makeup Book for Elementary School Students: Making Me and Everyone Smile” (Kodansha), focusing on children's “makeup education.” She also launched the “Team Gonen Go” initiative, using makeup to nurture the rapidly changing hearts of elementary and junior high school students over just five years.

The Meiku Project

The “Make-Up Education” project is an initiative launched by Shinobu Igari and ampule to promote the correct and safe use of makeup among children, whose age of makeup use is steadily decreasing.
Its purpose is to spread proper and safe kids' makeup practices while providing opportunities for parent-child communication.

“Make-up Education” (comprehensive makeup education) isn't just about looking cute—it nurtures the heart too!
It teaches not only methods and tips for applying makeup, but also how to express one's unique self joyfully while cherishing one's face and body.

Through beauty, we wish for a world where parents and children deepen their bond and find more smiles.
That is the heartfelt wish of this project.
